New G5 iMac 20"

Last week I recieved my new iMac. I was a little concerned with the old posts about exsessive fan noise. Well, no need to worry there. I did not hear the fan at all. In fact, I had to put my ear right up to the screen to make sure the thing was working at all. Whatever they did, they sure can make a quiet fan.

As far as performance goes, I am very happy. However, I am by no means a computer guru or anything, but comming from an ancient PC, I love this thing!

Congrats! I really like mine also. Now if I can just figure out what this red line is down the middle of my screen

Christ lucky you, mine was screaming the house down, and not showing anything up in the hardware tests....
Been taken into a reseller under warrantly but won't have it back for up to a month, so ****ty XP for now then...
