If you decide to give it a try...I would definitely shut down the laptop, unplug it, and remove the battery. - Nick - Computer slow, too many "beachballs", read this: Beachballs - Computer seems slower than it used to? If the plug is hollow and you can see the hollow core form the outside stick something into the plus like a bamboo skewer or fine wood screw. If you can get something in, turn as you are pulling to keep the object "biting". I did this to get a broken plug out of my G3 imac years ago. Kids. How about a dollar coin the DVD slot - yep they did that to. The slot load pulled it right in.
