I'm doing something wrong here.

I go to itunes/file/library/export library

In the save as box it says Library.xml and all it ends up doing is sending a text file to the selected drive partition.

Any help would be very appreciated.

This is the machine:
Model Name: Power Mac G5
Model Identifier: PowerMac7,2
Processor Name: PowerPC 970 (2.2)
Processor Speed: 1.8 GHz
Number Of CPUs: 2
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 5 GB
Bus Speed: 900 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 5.1.5f0

Running 10.5.8
iTunes 9

Thanks for any help
Steve

That's what it's suppose to do.

What are the iTunes library files?

What is it you want to do?

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Trying to export the library to a partition on a different hard drive. After reading this I believe I have it sorted out.

Thanks for the response!
