Hello,

Is it possible to use a G5 Dual Core Processor tower plugged into the monitor of an older G5 iMac? So the G5 iMac monitor obviously is a computer in itself but I just want to use the screen. Or do I simply need to get a new monitor for my new G5 Dual Core computer and if so what are my cheapest options please?

Many thanks

Mac OS X Version 10.5.4 - Leopard
1.8 GHz PowerPC G5
2 GB DDR SDRAM

Nope...can't do it...sorry.

Cheapest option is to find an old CRT monitor that no one wants...so this would be free!

Cheapest option for an LCD monitor...look for used ones on Craig's List.
