Wanted a Mac... Ordered a Mini... Apple released the new 2.0G iMacs with so much standard.... cancelled Mini... Ordered 20in iMac... It'll be here tomorrow.

I got a 1G stick of RAM to upgrade the mini from Newegg. I understand the iMac and the Mini use the same type of RAM. Can I just add the 1G stick to my iMac for a total of 1.5G or does it need to be matched for some reason?

Thanks!

It doesn't have to match.
