I recently purchased a used mac G5 dual 2.0
I tried to update software and discovered I had no system preferences...
There are software applications on the hardrive I would like to keep.
How do I save these program and get system prefs. back??
Thanks!

Don't double-post Larbok, you risk your thread being locked. Keep OS matters where they belong, in Software.

If you have specific questions about your G5 hardware, then this is the place to be.
