It came in today. Wow, that was fast. I just ordered it Friday!!! It is beautiful. Some of you may know that I had the 17" version (1.8ghz) but always wanted the 20". As soon as that update happened and the price dropped I was all over it. The 20" is beautiful and looks so much clearer over the 17". As far as the new specs, I just got it so i'll have to test it later. It is awesome though!!!!!!!!!

Run an Xbench test on it when you have the time.

Don't know where you are, but I'd kick back tonigt and watch a good DVD on that new 20" display, simply reveling in all its glory.

Then you probably have the processor set to Auto. Go into system utilities, select the energy saver icon, and click on the far right tab (can't remember what it says on it at the moment, I'm on a PC) then select 'highest' from the dropdown menu. This should increase your score. My score with the 1.8 20" was up into the mid 170's, so I imagine your 168 score was on an autor setting. The scores I have seen coming in to the xbench website for the 2.0 so far have been high 170's to 180 when set to highest. Strangely enough all the the results I have seen show the CPU, and text graphics scores of the 2.0 to be slower than the 1.8. But the higher scores of some of the graphics tests on the new 128 video card help the new system pull through to a slightly higher overall score.

It's through an application called Xbench, freeware. http://www.xbench.com

Make sure nothing else is runnning other than Xbench. As well, processor performance setting are located under System Preferences>Energy Saver>Options(Tab).

Enjoy

Yeah, thanks, I couldn't remember the exact location when posting yesterday since I was on a PC. :-/. I must admit, I'm glad to see the new iMac didn't whomp on my nearly new 1.8 machine too badly (in fact most scores only seem to be up on my machine by 4-5 points) but I sure would love that new video card. ahwell.
