Cant conncect mac to new phone via bluetooth

I have done everything i can with regards to setting this up but still it wont connect. I can send items from my phone to my mac from my phone but not the other way round. When i click on browse device or send file i get absolutley nothing.

It would probably help if there were a few more details like:
What version of OSX
What phone you're using
What you're trying to do (send pics, connect to internet, send SMS)

check that there aren't any security services set on your phone, I had to authorize my mac (even after doing the pin thing) on my phone(samsung) before it would work properly.

Mac is a 10.5.8
Phone is an INQ1 by 3

I'm trying to send images and mp3's from my mac to my phone as far as i know everything is set up correctly
