I am looking to buy a Mac computer to produce music using Logic Pro 9. I was wondering what my best bet would be? To buy it new or used since this would be the best forum to ask on. I was looking to get a Mac Pro but know next to nothing on it. I have a Mac Book Pro I use to record my dj mixes and run my dj program so I opted not to use it to produce music too.

Should I get the Mac new or used and what Mac Pro would be best for what I want to do? Thank you so much for your help!

A Mac Pro is a large investment and a very versatile powerful machine. If there's an Apple store nearby where you live, I suggest you go on in and have the experts there give you a demo and let you play around with one. They'll also be able to provide you with suggestions on to best equip it for your music production.

Regards.
