Itunes and Safari wont install

Somehow my itunes and safari got deleted and i try to download them both and it pops up that CD thing on the desktop but when i click on the install thing it says that there is no specified application to run this thing. I have tried this many times what can i do????

sounds like you are missing the installer app, you should consider a full os install if that is the case

In Leopard it should be in /System/Library/CoreServices/Installer.app
