I have an iMac OS9 w/ Power PC G3 processor, 64MB built in mem,996mb virtual mem, OS ROM 3.1.1 ....I'm really not Mac savy as I have only had this for a year. I don't want to use my XP machine...I am sticking with Mac but need to know if I can upgrade this machine or if I should look towards getting a whole new comp. Any advice or ideas?
QUOTE Thanks

When you say upgrade, are you referring to operating systems?
On my iMac similar to yours I have osx 10.3.1 (Panther).Works great.

An extra stick of RAM should help you if you want to upgrade to OS X...it shouldn't be a problem though.
