I ordered the Rosewill 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) for $85 from NewEgg.com and it happens to be the exact same RAM as pqi POWER Series 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) that costs $100. The memory chips are PQI and infact, the Rosewill label is covering the PQI label. This memory works great in the Mac mini.

I received my Rosewill last night. One gig for $75.

The chips on this stick seemed to be the same type as PNY's rebranded stuff. I think they may have been infineon or micron. They definitely were not PQI.

Taking apart the mini is scary, but I only sustained one scratch on the botton metal. Nothing noticeable.

That's so sad... as if posting across the Atlantic is much farther than trans-continental in the US - never mind to Hawaii !!

By the way, if you buy from Kingston or someone, does the RAM work as well as Apple official RAM ??

Where's the right-click button?

Apple "official" RAM is nothing special (I think they use Hynix mostly)-- much of the 3rd party stuff is higher quality.
