I have a 20 inch iMac G5 . It keeps shutting off at random times.
Quite honestly the problem has gone on for about a month. My power cell went out. Not even a year after it was replaced. So it was replace again. I brought it home and the problem still persisted. I regaled back to the stroe and they repalced the logic board. I have no idea what to do bc I brought it home and the problem still persists. I have a huge project coming soon and I have bonuses what to do! It is so sad and so fustarting I could cry. Not only does ittake an hour to and Dom the apple store but my project is due Monday . Please help me |

As a guess 1/ reset the PRAM 2/reset PMU 3/ Install combo updater for OS. One of those might do the trick. Try this first Resetting the iMac (Flat Panel) Power Management Unit (PMU) and Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
