Add me to the list of 27" iMac'ers!

I'm new here, although been lurking for a little while now.

Well, at least soon to be an 27" owner since they are not quite on the market yet. I just ordered the 27" i7 iMac and am stoked to get it. Why did I do this especially since I just got my 24" 3.06GHz in May? Latest and greatest, I suppose. New features, SD Card reader, LED Backlit, and Quadcore. Oh and not to mention the Magic Mouse, but that's more of a side-note extra feature.

Anyway, I'm curious... what's the going rate for my previous one (of which I type on currently)?

Model ID: iMac9,1

-3.06GHz C2D CPU
-4GB RAM
-1TB HDD
-ATI Radeon 4850 w/512MB VRAM

Or maybe I ought to make it official and put it in the buy/trade forum, huh??

Thanks guys for a great site and I'm looking forward to participating some more!

I'm just hoping they ship sometime in the next two weeks. I would love to have mine before the Thanksgiving holiday! I plan on getting Windows 7 sometime around then and dual-booting it so I can start playing some Left 4 Dead 2.

Sorry if there's already a thread for this.

I received my i7 iMac yesterday. This replaced my 24" 3.06 C2D iMac!

I only got a little bit of time to play with it since a lot of my evening was spent just waiting for my info all to be migrated over.

So far I am very impressed by this one!

So who else got theirs????

Oh yeah, I'll try to post pictures of the two side-by-side tonight when I get home from work.

You might get surprised. Mine arrived about a week and half ago. I think it was the day after they were announced to be shipping. I even got it before my email notice saying it shipped. The projected arrival date was about a week after it came.
