Trouble burning discs

Every time I try to burn photos to a disc it always fails and comes up with an error message. This is really frustrating and I am at my wits end.

Please help, what am I doing wrong?

Can you tell us how you are trying,and what program and OS version you are using please.
That way we have more to go on.

And also what brand of media as cheapies are not the best for photo work.
