Hello All,

I'm pretty sure this has been asked many times, but is it possible? I have a 24" iMac. I was thinking (which means it probably wont work!) If I could get one of these:

And plug it in here:

Then just connect it to the back of the ps3 and then I could play away on the ps3 using my iMac screen. Would this work?

Thanks in Advance,
Connor

The 24" iMac's only have a video out port (the one you circled). To use the monitor to play with PS3 you need a "video in" port...which it just so happens the new 27" iMacs have!

Serious about which part...

The older 24" iMacs having no video in port, or the new 27" iMac's having a video in port?

No video in port in the iMac 24". This is the way it has been since 1998 when the first iMac was introduced.

The 27" iMac introduced only a couple days ago is the first iMac to have video in.
