Mac Mini, Audio Input?

I know the mac mini doesn't officially have an audio input but I heard that the audio out might actually be able to be used as an audio input with a firmware hack, kind of like the iPod headphone jack can. Has anyone heard anything about this? I have no idea where I heard it, I think I need to stop browsing the internet so late at night.

Its a rumour that has no real basis and to be honest, would be a waste of time. Just pick up the imic for $40. Its excellent (as long as you use the RGA like feeds). I have been using it for several months with Logic. Awesome stuff.
