I wanted to post in the buy/sell/trade forum, but it wouldnt let me so i dont know if i need a certain number of posts before I can post in there but on to my question.
I want to upgrade the video card in my g5 from a 9600 128mb card for either a x800xt, x850xt or 6800 ultra. also if I have something wrong on this please correct me, I didnt look it up too closely yet. I want a new video card so that I can install Adobe CS4, CS4 requires shader model 3.0, which according to the adobe installer, my card does not support, I hope that wont go farther again whenever cs5 comes out in a year or two making g5s unable to even upgrade to the requirements, but that will be a different matter
so if anyone knows a place to get a vid card at a good price, please let me know, ebay prices were only ok
