iMac system turns on from being shut down

at 10pm pst each night my imac system turns on from being shut down. I can not find any reason in my system preferences or why it does so. talked with apple support and they do not seem to know. Help.

If u want advice include Hardware specs and OS loaded - Crystal balls lack USB connections
