I just purchased a LaCie d2 tripple 320 gig and would like to set it up as a 200 gig mac format and a 120 gig pc format fat 32. Can this be done with the mac or will i have to do it under windows? Or can it even be done? I would hate to have to fat 32 the whole thing, would rather Mac it in that case.

Mac Pro Intel 2.66 - 4 Gigs Ram - 10.6.1 - 30" Apple Monitor
iMac 24" 2 gigs ram - MacBook Pro

Is it two 160gb volumes. If it is then you can only make one drive mac and the other windows. I tied splitting a single drive and putting mac os on one partition and ntfs on the other and it wouldnt work. You might be able to fat32 it though. Consider using Macdrive to access the drive from windows. Macdrive runs under windows to allow it to read and write to mac os partitions.
