Getting the "stuff" off my harddrive...

I have an iMac G5 that I've had for two years and a few months ago, the logic board completely failed. How do I get the contents of that drive onto another computer? I was told by one company that they could do it for 90-160$. Also, possibly converting to an external HDD?
Thanks in advance.

Buy an external USB enclosure to plop the drive in for $20-$50.
Look on newegg at enclosures - they've got half a ton of them.
Need to make sure whether your drive is IDE or SATA and match the enclosure to it.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
