iMac - Problems with 4yo 17" Imac G5 CD / DVD Burner

Hi,

I have a 4 year old 17" Imac Power PC G5. The CD / DVD drive has been playing up for a while now, but now it won't burn cd's at all.

I use dragon burn to burn cd's and dvd's, and it comes up with a "BE Error - Sense Error" whenever I try to burn a cd.

So anyway, I was thinking to upgrade to a new, faster cd / dvd burner, perhaps one that supports dual layer DVD's, and hopefully this will also fix my burning issue as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good current cd / dvd burners for a 17" Imac g5?
