Hi all!
My last pc crash was the end of the line for me and I now have a 2.66 intel core duo with 4 gb memory. I mostly use my computer for music storage, email, forums, and playing games. I have a small collection of PC games and there are a couple games I like to play online. It looks like I need a program to do this, I have heard tale of paralels and other programs. I'm not partucularly computer savvy so I need help from start to finish on what to buy,and how to run it. thanks, Angel |

Start here and let us know if you have any questions:
http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/win...ers-guide.html Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |

No, you need to purchase Parallels and Windows. Parallels is $80 and Windows depends on what version you get (both XP or Vista and what "edition" such as home, pro...).
You don't need to use Parallels to run Windows on your Mac nor will using Parallels even work if you want to play games in Windows. What you want is Boot Camp. Here is the Boot Camp Installation and Setup Guide. Using BC still requires you to purchase Windows. Eligible versions of Windows are listed in that guide.
