connecting power g4 to macbook pro

hey there guys need to connect my g4 to my macbook pro and use it as an external hardrive would it be better to buy a firewire hardrive or is it the same difference?

You would be better off simply purchasing an external HD.
They are inexpensive enough these days and the capacity would very likely far exceed what you have in your Power Mac.__________________________________________________
