iMac - iMac G5 display problem

Hi... I have this iMac G5 with a display problem.

There is this really small fly stuck between the actual display and what I think
seems to be some kind of protectionlayer.
My question is, is it possible for me to open it up, and remove it myself?

Thanks for you're quick reply, I've been looking at the guide... and I think I'm just gonna leave it there.
This is way over my head, and to have it done is gonna cost me alot more than I want to spend on it.
I'll just have to make friends with it...
