anyone know where i can buy a bluetooth module?

I really want to install the bluetooth module in my powermac so that I can use my wireless mouse and keyboard. does anyone know where i could buy the module? thanks

Probably would be cheaper to buy one of the bluetooth dongle things that plug into a USB port from Belkin. You can get those from Apple or Amazon.com.

yea, unless you buy a refurbished or used one on ebay or something similar. I believe there's a store here that sells that sorta stuff, parts of macs only, no actual macs.

You can, just not directly from Apple. I've read that people have been able to purchase the module and antennae from Mac-Pro, though it will certainly be cheaper to go with the USB adapter (cost is approximately $125 for the internal components). As mentioned, you can also find them on eBay.

Once you have the parts, here's a nice guide that details the installation.

for a "nice clean install, some soldering may be required, which would definitely void your warranty.

Its not like it is a powerbook and the dongle sticks out the side....you plug it in the back and you won't see it again
