I have a 887 GHZ PowerMac G4 Tower running Mac OS 10.2.8 . I want to upgrade the OS to 10.4.11. When I put the system disk into the computer, it won't read the disk to install. After a couple of minutes, it kicks the disk out. How can I upgrade to Mac OS 10.4.11?
QUOTE Thanks

Do you have a cdrom or the "superdrive" aka dvd player? Is the disc you purchased a cd or dvd? is it a full version or an update disc? many possibilities...
QUOTE Thanks
