I own a MacBook Unibody 2.4Ghz right now and a gaming rig but these days I don't even use my gaming rig for serious gaming. I use it only for music, movies, internet and World Of Warcraft. I'm not one of those real WoW freaks. Just an hour or two per day
For gaming I already own a PS3.
So, my question is that shall I go for the iMac? I'm thinking of a fully loaded 24" 3.06 Ghz iMac with ATI Radeon HD4850. Shall I go for it?
Is there any chance that Apple might upgrade their iMacs in 4-5 months time?

If you enjoy spending money, go for it. However, if it were me... I would purchase a nice 22" or 24" LCD monitor, keyboard, and mouse and use that nice unibody as a desktop. You'll then have the best of both worlds without having to spend an additional $1500 or more on an iMac.

Remember, an iMac is a notebook Mac built vertically without a battery.

Regards.
