I have a powermac g3 b&w running 10.3, and I would like to upgrade the ATI 0x1002 card to a rage 128. I tried just shutting down and sticking it in, then starting up.... didn't work. It looked like it was starting up, then went to no input from the computer to the monitor. I guess I need to download or do something to ready the machine for the change... Does anyone know? thanks!!!

The Rage 128 comes in both AGP and PCI form. Your machine requires the PCI card which installs in the 66MHz PCI slot. If it is an AGP card as used on Sawtooth G4's and later, no joy.

I've transitioned the machine to the new graphics card and installed the general driver for mac edition found on Graphics Drivers & Software
The picture, however, is now grey-cyan tinted; and the monitor auto-aligns it crooked.
Any help is appreciated.

I figured out that in the process of switching back and forth between the computers I'm working on apparently caused the monitor to go bad. Both G3s are working fine now; I'll just need a new monitor!
