Depends on the model which you have not supplied. Late models with USB2 use the following:-

512MB PC2700 DDR 333MHz CL2.5 184 Pin Mo... (OWC2700DDR512) at OWC

Earlier models use different memory:-

512MB PC133 CL3 3-2-2/PC100 CL2 2-2-2 1... (OWC133SD512328) at OWC

HarryB has already suggested that you supply further information about your specific model of eMac, and has given options available - depending on the model.

You can help your cause further by using Mactracker to research everything you need to know (and then some) about your eMac model.

This is the memory for your eMac, which can take a maximum of 2x1GB modules. G4's are pretty fussy about RAM and with only 256MB the machine sure is underpowered:-

1GB PC2700 DDR 333MHz CAS 2.5 184 Pin DIMM (OWC2700DDR1024) at OWC

You can save ~$10 per module by buying this instead:

Newegg.com - G.SKILL Value 1GB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Basically exactly the same thing. G.Skill is a good brand.
