I've had a problem develop over the last 48 hours.
Upon the system loading, i can move the cursor, the dock will open up at the bottom when scrolling over it, yet when i click to open anything, i get zero reaction. I can't even shut the system down without pulling the plug... I initially thought it may be a hardware problem with the mouse, but now I suspect something software related. any clues? as it's rather worrying, my imac is only 4 months old. thanks, jamie. |

Can you click other things? Have you tried another mouse? Can you right-click anything (perhaps the left mouse button is broken)?
