hi,
I recently bought a G4 MDD Dual 867GHz Processor as someone said it would fit in my G3 B&W... it doesn't. Is there like an upgrade kit that converts the ZIF to whatever the G4 fits into? Alternatively what other kind of Power Mac would this processor fit into that I could buy cheaply to replace my other Power Mac?

Thanks for any help,
Sephers.

No it will not and no there is no upgrade ZIF socket, other than the commercially available type and the only other G4 the processor will fit is of course a MDD.

Sorry.
