hey i am thinking about getting a mac mini and hooking it up to a tv. that way i can watch tv though the net instead of dealing with charter expensive asses and as a back up mac and it would just be cool to have my tv as the moniter. is there a way to do that with the new mac minis? my tv is a phillps widescreen with hdmi and componet and compist cables

The new Mac Mini has both a mini display port and DVI output for video. All you would need is an adapter cable and HDMI cable to go from the mini to your TV.
Lots of folks use their TV as a monitor. As long as your TV is a fairly new one it should be able to display good quality video. Regards. |
