could you up grade a G4 To A G5 or is to expesive and too much of a hassle

G5 upgrade cards don't exist as of yet so you can't do that

Also it's not just the processor speed thats different. The whole architecture of the motherboard is different for the G5 so you would have to replace both. It would be easier to get a new system.
