Hello there,

Im working as a 3D Modeller/Animator at a post production house here in Greece for tv ads..

Working on Cinema 4D , Modo and Zbrush..Also using the most programs from Abode... So that's what i need a computer for...

The only Mac i own so far, is a Macbook Pro (mid 2007) and im looking to buy a desktop..The Macbook seems that can handle the job for me, even though the renders aren't that fast..but are good enough...

I was waiting so much for the new iMacs to come out since i was hoping for a quad core machine...well Apple didn't make me happy on that, but oh well...
So here is my problem and im sure that only you people can help me on that, since you got more experience on that.

I always wanted an 8-core MacPro, i have worked on that beast and the power is insane, renders are hella fast etc..
But...i can't afford one of those and im thinking to get an 24" 2.9GHZ iMac now..

Do you guys think that an iMac would do the job that i wanna do?
Also, im a huge Nvidia fan but im not sure if i have to get the Ati or the Nvidia if i get this machine at the end, which one you think is better for what i do...

Thanks in advance for any help/advice...
