Hello guys,

Just a quick one regarding my iMac's CD drive, I have noticed that with certain CD/DVD's (when either playing or burning) a loud vibrating noise is coming from the drive area in/around the machine.

I did a bit of research and found that discs that aren't weighted correctly can cause this, or it could be a loose disc drive etc.. but was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue, and if so how did you get it fixed?

my iMac is still under Apple Care warranty until half way through the year so I could call them and have it looked at but was wondering what the average turn around for Apple Care maintenance is?

Cheers,

Chris

If this "loud vibrating noise" is different than it has been in the past...then why even bother posting a message here!...USE THE WARRANTY!!!
