It's a powerbook-type drive, 4200rpm. The Macs Only site has tested a mini with a faster replacement drive (Hitachi 7200 rpm), as well as several memory configurations: www.macsonly.com, under the heading "How Fast Is It?"

I'll have to keep an eye out for a deal on a 7200rpm drive, I think the stock drive is really holding the systems performance back.
