Hi,

I have just swapped my hard drive on my 17" IMac for a Hitachi Deskstar P7K500 320GB SATA hard drive. I have rebooted using the OS X disk and then erased and partitioned the drive.

However, the problems start when I try to then 'restore from backup' and nothing happens? I don't get the 'select a backup source' option, nothing!

If any one can help it would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

KWat

Do you have pulled disk in an enclosure or another computer. You should be able to migrate during os install.
