only reason I chose white is because it has the usb ports on top, which I like better than they style of graphite/black kb that are on the top on the side.

I like the whit one too because of that and it just looks better. the black one looks too much like a dell keyboard. I also have a white mouse and i love it. the only difference on the mouse it you cant ajust it [i dont see a point to being able to ajust it any way so im alright with it].

apple needs to make a slick brushed aluminum keyboard to finish off the look between the G5 and monitors. oooh yeah, and the letters could light up on the keys! yeah and it could have built in fans to keep you cool when you're fingers are on rapid fire with shortcuts! and maybe LED lights on the bottom that give off a diffused glow on the desktop! okay okay, maybe just the brushed aluminum would suffice.

oh yeah, white gets my vote

lataz,
kurt

still waiting for the G5G to be released... yeah that's the version that has a guinness tapper on the side. mmmm guinness :black:

as your username states, "whatthecrap"? that sounds great, but such a keyboard would be 5 times its current thickness, 10 times the price, and 13 times less convenient.

do you really think so? if they can make the power book so thin they should be able to make a brushed aluminum keyboard. they keys wouldn't have to be aluminum really. and the body could be made of aluminum that's just as thin as any plastic used on any other keyboard. the top would really have to be the only thing that is aluminum. as for the inconvenience factor, personally my keyboard just sits on my desk with an occasional slide here or there for comfort adjustments. i don't really see how this would be any less convenient really. and i guess the cost factor shouldn't matter when your already dropping $5,000 + on a setup.

needless to say it was just a thought and i think it would look pretty cool

cheers :headphone
