iMac - MIDI problem

I have a MIDI keyboard for Logic Studio and Finale 2009. It has been working great in Logic but I want to use it to use it to input notes on Finale (which is a music notation software) but it will not work. The people in the finale forum are unable to figure it out. I was hoping someone here could
