I am typing this messgae on the G3 and with opera It will show everthing that my macbook would. My G3 is only a little slower than my macbook! G3 everything (on the net) that my macbook can. G3 speakers and screen are great! |

I'm reasonably impressed. It doesn't have the speed of this eMac, but it isn't far behind. It handles internet, either b/band or dialup, just fine. I wouldn't use Tiger on it because I think it would struggle, but I'm happy enough with Panther. The G3 iMac is arguably one of the best Macs - for its day. What's also impressive is that there are thousands of G3 iMacs still in use.

My Hdd crashed and I didn't have the os disc it came with so its just sitting. I don't know which os version to install onto it. :-( My friend has an imac g4 I think with os 10 something on it and I ready to try and copy his somehow.
