I am running:
iMac 24" 3.06

Ok here is the problem, I was stupid and downloaded
a fan speed controller. and now I cannot get the speeds
to go back to normal. They are currently running at:

CPU Fan: 1199 RPM I believe is normal, or not?
HD Fan: 1199 RPM i believe is normal, or not?
Optical: 1199 RPM, isn't it supposed to be some where around 600 RPM?
QUOTE Thanks

Hi,
You have to reset the SMC (System Management Controller).
Shut down your Mac, unplug the power cord (and all other cables). Wait at least 15 seconds. And plug everything back in.

Oh, and start back up.
