Gotta Mac Pro tower 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Xeon I purchased Feb of 2008. I'm looking for help on upgrading memory.

1) Is there a faster memory type available and compatible?

2) Who do you guys prefer and where might be a good place to get it?

1GB x 2, 800 MHz, DDR2 FB-DIMM is what's in there now and looking to double it to 4 gig.

Thanks

Thanks rman. That site is perfect. No guess work. Took me right to the memory I needed. Prices so good I bumped it up to 8 gig instead of 4.

Remember faster memory will not work faster than your system dictates. If PC6400 memory is called for and you use say PC7400, if available, it will work at the 6400 rate.
