I bought 2 gb of ddr2 4200/533 ram from a computer shop and it showed on my mac as 3200/288 so I returned it (twice) and ordered Mac specific memory from canadaRam.com and it shows as 4200/444, Mac specs are 4200/533. I'm good with these specs. The canadaRam store was great to deal with, knowledgeable and did everything they said they would when they said they would. My kind of business.
