Mac Specs: *27" imac C2D 3.0/1TB/16GB**Mac Pro Octo 2.8/4x1TB/16GB**Mac Pro Quad 2.66/2x1TB/8GB**iPhone 4*

powermac G5 is offline
After desktop login, window pops up drive inserted is not readable by this computer any thoughts? Drive info comes up in disk utility, all info, but drive is unformatted. Will I need to format and how? Thank you guys have been helpfuf thus far, again thank you, G5 dual 1.8 original disk maxtor added barracuda.

Take it you have set up as master and slave? If so format as Mac Extended (Journaled) under Disk Utility. Just select the drive and proceed.
