This memory I purchased for my G4 PowerMac (audio) 533mhz:

3x512mb 133mhz SDRAM:

512MB PC133 SDRAM 133MHz 512 MB PC 133 DESKTOP RAM MEMO - eBay (item 140267640239 end time Oct-16-08 02:43:01 PDT)

System runs as if the memory does not exist. When I put in 128mb with one of the 512mb sticks, system reports only 128mb of memory installed. When just the 512mb are installed, system gives a different beep and does not start past the post.

Not compatible is your problem. Look at the specs - see that high density? Most PC memory is high density. Apple Mac use low density and will not recognise that memory. This is the link for their low density:-

NEW 512MB PC133 SDRAM 512 PC 133 LOW DENSITY 133MHZ RAM - eBay (item 140271328261 end time Oct-29-08 01:32:14 PDT)

Pop them an email, tell them what you purchased and can you echange, plus the difference, for modules to suit and Apple Mac.
