I have an older model G5:

PowerPC w/ no intel. Recently its been giving me this error: The computer then freezes and I have to restart it. This problem has only been recently occuring.. this hasn't happened before. Anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?

It could be graphics related or memory, but before you start digging into that territory, first run Disk Utility from your install media and verify the HD. Correct any errors that might show up. Keep running verify until all errors are cleared. If that doesn't help, post back and we can go from there.

Regards.
