Hello,
Can anyone help me with this question?
Can a Mac G4 400 MHZ PowerPC take a SATA Drive? I have installed a IDE and it works but wasn't sure about a SATA drive.
Thanks for the help

The G4 400 model used an ATA/66 bus. It won't accept an SATA drive. You may be able to install a PCI card that will allow a SATA drive but I can't confirm that. Maybe some else has done that and can confirm it.
