Hello

Would OSX 10.3 improve a iMac 350MHz 256mb RAM with 10.2.8. Did anybody noice any major speed increases or decreases?

would it need more than 128mb of RAM?

Every step in the development of OS X has brought improvements in many areas, including speed. However, on an older model the improvements are more limited. For some real-world comparisons between various systems on the same models try the Macs Only site: http://www.macsonly.com/olderspeed.html. As far as RAM goes: more is better. 128 is Apple's minimum but it is inadequate, 256 is better but (imho) if you want full performance for most uses you should have 512 or more.
