iMac - Nvidea graphic card

Hi all,
i have a question, im in Mexico and i want to buy an IMAC 24" with the NVIDEA graphics card, but after a large search i descover that here in Mexico the IMAC is available only with ATI graphic card so my question is:

-is it possible to change graphic card (ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256mb to Nvidea GeForce 8800 GS 512 MB) ?

That refers to the old white version doesn't it? The article is from 2006.

I don't know of anyone swapping the GPU in that or the aluminium version. Even if you could, you'd have to take the machine apart and void your warranty.

Anyway, I can clearly see the 24" iMac with nVidia GPU at the Mexican Apple store: http://store.apple.com/mx/browse/hom...c?mco=MjI4NDk4

and about the Apple Store Mexico , i know there is available but i dont want to buy it online.
one more question:
-im a user of "MAYA 2008", for this software which graphic card is better ? ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256mb OR Nvidea GeForce 8800 GS 512 MB_?
